| Two sheets of .041" 3K Carbon Fiber sandwiched with light weight 6mm polypropylene honeycomb. This panel is an extremely rigid, but still light weight. A very good structural panel to use for your high strength application. Since these panels use a PP core they are also very buoyant. Tools Required: This sheet can be cut with a Dremel type rotary tool or electric jig, band or table saw. Mark on sheet with a Sharpie marker, marks can be removed with acetone. You can also apply masking tape over areas and mark on that, remove after cutting. Edges can be easily sanded, we recommend wet sanding with maximum 80 grit. |
